Amy's Turned 6
Amy turned 6 on Wednesday this last week. She got to open family gifts and cards that morning. She loves the cash!
And she loves to draw and color! Thanks Grandmas and Grandpa!
Saturday was supposed to be her birthday party. She picked a polka-dot party and invited 6 friends from church. It snowed all night and we decided to reschedule the party for next Saturday, but I had already made the cake. Too bad we'll have to eat it and make another one for next week too. Her birthday just keeps going and going! She was pretty sad about canceling, but was excited to play in the snow.

Family Group Hike
We were invited to join a local family group that does fun activities together and this was a hike they set up. Amy has been sick, so Riley took Adam, Elli and Sandy. I'm so glad Jenae took pictures and shared them with me!
Adam loves to climb trees.
Cute Elli.
I 'm sure Sandy enjoyed getting out. It's been a long winter for her having to be inside with limited walks. I'm not happy when I'm cold, so all we do is go to the bus stop and back. Anyways, later that day, the group also went to a college basketball game and Riley took the two kids. They all had a lot of fun.

Christmas is Coming!
Here is the tree all decorated and lit up. It is a monster! From the outside looking in you just see a big green blob. We thought the friends we went chopping with were crazy for picking out smaller trees. Next year we'll get a little bit smaller one. It is pretty though. Only tipped over once and when we turned it a little, we could hardly notice that it is crooked.
Silly Elli. Can't wait for Christmas Day. They like to poke around and arrange their own gifts into piles then I come behind and redistribute.
It Got Cold!
We've had 2 snows that stuck around a while. Not a ton of it, but enough to make it pretty and to play in. Riley shovels and I stay inside and watch. The kids are getting snow clothes and boots for Christmas so they can stay out in it longer than 10 minutes without being soaked thru.
I told a few of you I got arm warmers and here's the proof. I do feel like dancing whenever I put them on, but they don't keep me as warm as I thought they would when I bought them.
Isn't that Nice
