We all came out to cheer him on for his last game. We were teasing him that we each wrote a letter of his name on our bellies and that we were going to do the wave while lifting up our shirts. He did not think we were funny at all. He wouldn't even look at us the entire time.
As you can see, the girls just love coming. Usually only either Riley or I come and watch. It was a fun night out though.
Last week the kids got to stay home Thursday and Friday because of MORE snow! It snowed non stop Wednesday night to Friday afternoon. It looked really blizzardy, but it was mostly fluff that blew around. We did get some drifting, so I guess it was better to cancel, but I sure hope we are done with snow for the year.
After all the girls came, they got to start by making dot pictures. 
We had big circles to glue, stickers, and a dot stamp marker. It went a lot quicker than I planned. Most of the games did. We had a lot of time at the end for the girls to play with the presents or play freeze dance. I'm so glad Riley was here to help. He rescued me with a game of Simon Says and showing them Sandy's tricks. I get a little nervous when I don't have things planned for every minute. I think Amy had fun anyways.
"I don't know.... Do you have number 8?" Elli and Riley were the helper finders just in case.

I think everyone had fun. So glad we finally got to celebrate Amy's birthday!
Most people don't have front yards, so we end up with mounds along the street.
Adam dug a big hole in our mound. So glad Santa brought snow clothes. Kick those kids outside!

Saturday was supposed to be her birthday party. She picked a polka-dot party and invited 6 friends from church. It snowed all night and we decided to reschedule the party for next Saturday, but I had already made the cake. Too bad we'll have to eat it and make another one for next week too. Her birthday just keeps going and going! She was pretty sad about canceling, but was excited to play in the snow.
We were invited to join a local family group that does fun activities together and this was a hike they set up. Amy has been sick, so Riley took Adam, Elli and Sandy. I'm so glad Jenae took pictures and shared them with me!

I 'm sure Sandy enjoyed getting out. It's been a long winter for her having to be inside with limited walks. I'm not happy when I'm cold, so all we do is go to the bus stop and back. Anyways, later that day, the group also went to a college basketball game and Riley took the two kids. They all had a lot of fun.
Let the games begin! Adam is playing city ball and here is his first game. This is his 2nd year and this time they keep score and call fouls and every travel and double dribble. It was actually pretty fun to watch.
Adam is the youngest on his team. It goes from 4th to 6th grade and I think the monster Indian kid next to Adam is definitely a 6th grader. He was kind of mean
I like how they have it set up. They have 4, 10 minute quarters with subs every 5 minutes, so he plays 4 times each game. The first 10 minutes they play zones, then man on man for 10 minutes, then switch. Some of the players are pretty good. Adam has the potential, we just need to get outside and practice once it warms up a bit.

And Sunday morning before we head off to church. They each got new church clothes from Grandma and looked so nice.
Silly Elli. Can't wait for Christmas Day. They like to poke around and arrange their own gifts into piles then I come behind and redistribute.
I told a few of you I got arm warmers and here's the proof. I do feel like dancing whenever I put them on, but they don't keep me as warm as I thought they would when I bought them. 
When they think I'm not looking, they can be very nice to each other. That is why they squeaked onto Santa's Good List, barely.
Adam got to bring the cart all the way up, so Elli wanted a turn to bring it down. Here are Adam and Amy standing back, thoughtfully giving Elli her turn.
Then upon seeing that it was too heavy for Elli alone, and after getting permission from Dad, they ran to her aid.
Heave Ho! With Adam behind and Amy on one side, the cart started to lurch forward.
Riley had to help steer and Elli, realizing that everyone was ruining her moment of glory, looks to the ground in despair.
